1.1.1.1 DNS

If you’re looking for a DNS that allows you to browse the web faster and more private, then you need to check out 1.1.1.1 DNS. For those of you that don’t know nearly everything on the web starts with a DNS request. Think of DNS as a yellow page for the internet. Everything you can think of on the web starts with that DNS request.

Unfortunately, DNS is usually slow and insecure. Company’s ranging from your ISP, and anyone else listening on the internet can see the sites your visit and every app you use, this includes encrypted content. There are some theory’s that suggest DNS providers even sell your data about your internet activity or use that same information to target you with ads.

The DNS provider 1.1.1.1 promises to not sell your data or use it to target you with ads. While this is something that a lot of DNS providers promise we have yet to find any evidence that they do not follow this promise.
